Hong Kong's biggest yacht Ambrosia III up for grabs

on Tuesday, April 12, 2011

For the super rich, the world is one big playground and they have the playthings to prove it. One of the Hong Kong’s richest businessmen, Ambrous Young (also known as Ambrose), has now put his 65-meter Ambrosia III luxury yacht up for sale, and he might have plans to get something bigger and better. Monaco-based brokerage firm Yachting Partners International is in charge of the sale of the yacht, which also happens to be the city’s biggest. As of now, the asking price hasn’t been disclosed. The yacht can accommodate up to 12 guests in six cabins, along with 20 crew members.

The custom built Ambrosia III has been done in a classic Art Deco style and flaunts dark wood finishes and smooth curves. In the Stargate dining room, tiny fiber optic lights beautify the ceiling by imitating the constellations in the sky. Benetti Yachts crafted the 65m luxury yacht in 2006, and even at that time, the buying price was not revealed.
